Our Instructors

Karen Grace-Martin, MA

Karen Grace-Martin has guided and trained researchers through their statistical analysis for over 15 years as a statistical consultant at Cornell University and as the founder of The Analysis Factor. She has masters degrees in both applied statistics and social psychology and is an expert in SPSS and SAS.

Karen is our chief statistical consultant, article writer, webinar organizer, and host of Statistically Speaking, our online membership program.

 Trent D. Buskirk, Ph.D.

BuskirkPhotoBandWTrent Buskirk is the Vice President of Statistics and Methodology, Marketing Systems Group.

Dr. Buskirk has more than 15 years of professional and academic experience in the fields of survey research and statistics, as well as SPSS, SAS, and R.

Dr. Buskirk has taught for more than a decade at the University of Nebraska and Saint Louis University where he was an Associate Professor of Biostatistics in the School of Public Health.

Jeff Meyer, MPA, MBA

Jeff has worked with the Analysis Factor since 2013.

He has written the Stata code for our statistics workshops, teaches workshops on statistical analysis using Stata, and writes articles with an emphasis of employing Stata’s capabilities in analyzing data. Jeff joined the consulting team of the Analysis Factor in February of 2016.

In consultation, Jeff’s main areas of focus are multivariate, logistic (bivariate, ordinal and multinomial), mixed models, truncated, censored, Poisson and negative binomial regression.

He is also well versed in Stata’s multiple imputation model for missing data and is well versed in confidence intervals and effect sizes. In the event the client is short on time and needs their data set cleaned, Jeff has created templates incorporating macros and loops to quickly prepare a data set for analysis.

Tanya Havell – Programs Manager

TanyaTanya manages the production of our online workshops and our Craft of Statistical Analysis webinar series.

She worked for 14 years at American Civil Liberties Union of Illinois before moving to Ithaca, NY, in 2005 to raise her family.


Paige Chant – Client Engagement and Communications Coordinator

Paige is the friendly face behind Statistically Speaking, our online membership program.

She manages member engagement, assists with marketing and outreach, and coordinates our consulting services.


Mike Grace-Martin, Customer Support and Tech Guru

Mike is the person you’ll usually get if you contact our support. mgm_headshot He keeps all our websites and videos running smoothly and is the one who sorts things out if there are any hiccups.

Mike has over 20 years experience in web site usability, creation, and programming. He has served in various capacities to create and support great web sites for The Channel Islands Marine Sanctuary, eCornell, and Cornell University, among others. He holds a master’s in Cognitive Psychology, with an emphasis on Human-Computer Interaction.
